Capital One Is Opening a New Chef-curated Lounge at LaGuardia Airport—and It’s Designed by José Andrés
The 12,500-square-foot lounge offers made-to-order Spanish tapas, local art, and sweeping Manhattan skyline views in an elevated airport dining experience, open daily to Capital One cardholders.
- On Feb. 18, Capital One will open its flagship Capital One Landing at LaGuardia Airport's Terminal B near gates 11–31, spanning 12,500 square feet and created with the José Andrés Group.
- The dining-first concept pairs Capital One Landings with José Andrés, who considered opening an airport restaurant, aligning with the company's focus on short-haul domestic travelers.
- The space features a newly built 2,250-square-foot kitchen, seating for 180 guests with QR-code table ordering and Capital One mobile app reservations, plus roaming tableside carts and ritual carts.
- Venture X and Venture X Business primary cardholders receive unlimited complimentary access and can reserve via the Capital One app; non-cardholders pay a $90 one-time access fee, others get $45 discounted entry, and additional authorized users cost $125 annually.
- The debut arrives amid an influx of new lounges after a major renovation and competitor expansions at LaGuardia Airport Terminal B, while Capital One continues its lounge rollout with an expected opening at Charlotte Douglas.
