Cape Fear residents prepare as tropical wave moves through the Caribbean

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Meteorologists are closely watching the Caribbean, as a tropical wave makes its way to the US.  On Wednesday, WWAY went to the Ace Hardware on Village Rd. NE in Leland to see if residents are preparing.   For now, its too early to tell if the wave will develop into tropical storm Debby, or if it will head toward the Cape Fear.
