Can't Handle It? Usher Leaves Taraji P. Henson SHOOK After Bringing Her Onstage For Steamy 'R&B' Tour Performance
Usher serenaded Taraji P. Henson with "Can U Handle It?" and swept her off her feet as fans watched the viral exchange.
- On Saturday, Sept. 5, Usher serenaded Empire actress Taraji P. Henson onstage at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, performing "Can U Handle It?" and lifting her during an intimate embrace.
- This moment contrasted sharply with Usher's July Nashville encounter with fan Gabrielle Cheyenne, who appeared uncomfortable during his serenade, prompting him to stop and later warn fans about stage participation readiness.
- Online, viewers joked about the moment by referencing Taraji's iconic roles as Cookie Lyon in Empire and Yvette in Baby Boy, while videos showed her smiling and blushing throughout the steamy performance.
- The concert marked the first of three scheduled Allegiant Stadium shows this month, with Usher and Chris Brown returning on Sunday before another performance on Sept. 18.
- Taraji joins other celebrities including Keke Palmer and Doja Cat as recipients of Usher's onstage serenades, a recurring feature of the co-headlining tour scheduled through December 2026.
