Canada’s Taylor Pendrith Named Captain’s Assistant for Presidents Cup
Pendrith joins three other assistants under Geoff Ogilvy, bringing two previous International Team appearances and two top-10 PGA Tour finishes this season.
On Tuesday, Canadian Taylor Pendrith was named an assistant captain for the International Team at next month's Presidents Cup.
Pendrith joins fellow assistant captains Trevor Immelman, Camilo Villegas, and Tim Clark, all serving under captain Geoff Ogilvy.
The 35-year-old previously competed for the International Team twice, debuting in 2022 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte before competing on home soil at Royal Montreal Golf Club in 2024.
Despite finishing 89th in the FedEx Cup standings this season, Pendrith recorded two top-10 finishes, including a playoff loss at the ISCO Championship.
Medinah Country Club, located 40 kilometres west of Chicago, hosts the upcoming tournament featuring best-on-best competition between the United States and the International Team.
