The Communications Committee of the House of Representatives approved a bill that prohibits the creation, use, and sale of artificial intelligence (AI) programs used to generate false images containing sexual content, the so-called “deep nudes”. Those who create or publish this type of content may receive a fine ranging from 100 to 1,000 minimum wages. If the content is produced on a large scale, the fine can be multiplied tenfold.
