Calls to refit WA’s State Library as ‘not fit for purpose’
Western Australia's State Library in Northbridge is no longer fit-for-purpose, the agency tasked with running it has revealed. In its 2022-23 annual report, the State Library of WA, which runs the James Street site, has argued the building is out of date. Internal mechanical systems are reaching the end of their lives.
