Calin Georgescu said on Sunday evening that he had seen a recording with Interior Minister Cătălin Predoiu, in which he says that “the position of director of SRI awaits him”, during a broadcast on Realitatea TV. He did not, however, provide any evidence of this fact. Minister Predoiu reacted after these statements, saying that he “categorically refutes the speculations launched in the public space”.
