- Volunteer Juliana Salas is coordinating donations and forming human chains to distribute supplies to inaccessible areas. She stressed, "Right now, we need medical supplies," while noting limited road transport hampers aid delivery to devastated communities.
- The government declared three days of national mourning while the Finance Ministry ensures funding through the National Disaster Risk Management Fund for long-term recovery. Authorities continue searching eight locations where survivors could potentially be found.
