Caleb Williams provides another reminder of his importance to the Chicago Bears
Williams completed 30 of 36 passes for 305 yards and a touchdown as Chicago ended a two-game skid.
On Sunday, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams returned from a right hamstring injury, leading the team to a 31-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta.
Williams had been sidelined since the fourth quarter of a 9-3 loss to Minnesota on Sept. 20, with Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent combining to lead the Bears to two victories during his absence.
The third-year quarterback was 30 of 36 for 305 yards and a touchdown, while tight end Colston Loveland had six receptions for 65 yards and a TD in his best game of the season.
Defensive back Kyler Gordon recorded three sacks and two forced fumbles, while special teams units led by Josh Blackwell and Nick McCloud recovered fumbles that set up scoring drives for Chicago.
The Bears host the New England Patriots at Soldier Field on Thursday in a short week, though right guard Jonah Jackson's status remains uncertain after leaving Sunday's win with a hip injury.
