Cage the Elephant to headline NFL Munich Game halftime show
The NFL announced that Cage The Elephant will headline the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Munich Game on Nov. 15, where the New England Patriots face the Detroit Lions at Bayern Munich Arena.
This performance joins a series of international halftime shows, including The Jonas Brothers at the Sept. 10 NFL Melbourne Game and Ayra Starr at the NFL London Game.
Tim Tubito, the NFL's senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment, said "The Elephant are one of the great live rock bands working today," citing Germany's deep rock tradition.
Matt Shultz of Cage The Elephant said, "Playing a halftime show is a completely different animal," emphasizing the challenge of performing for a global stadium audience in one shot.
Munich previously hosted NFL games in 2022 and 2024, reinforcing the league's expanding presence in Europe as international games continue to grow.
