Cabell County Board of Education approves addition of new middle school sports

The Cabell County Board of Education approved the addition of three new middle school sports programs, including baseball, softball and co-ed soccer. During its regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, the board decided softball and baseball will compete in the spring of 2027 and soccer will have its first season in the fall of 2027.
