Walmart hikes full-year outlook, says it will use huge tariff refund to keep prices low
Walmart reported quarterly sales above Wall Street expectations and raised its full-year outlook, citing strong business performance and tariff refunds.
Revenue increased 5.9% in the fiscal second quarter, while global e-commerce sales surged 23%.
U.S. comparable sales rose 2.6%, although growth was below analysts’ 3.5% estimate, partly due to weaker health and wellness sales.
