One of the contestants in Miss Germany, Büsra Sayed, a 27-year-old businesswoman with immigrant roots who was born in Osnabrück and lives in Berlin, recently made it to the finals of the competition. In a pageant that is increasingly focusing on the “personality” of the contestants rather than their physical beauty, she managed to sell her story of how she herself wears and successfully sells Muslim hijabs.
