Aldi's UK boss has backed the government's crackdown on misleading supermarket deals and has also criticised Tesco and Sainsbury's loyalty schemes. Giles Hurley says shoppers are often persuaded that they are getting a good deal based on the amount of savings advertised rather than the actual price of the product.
