Wildfire in Tantallon Area Being Held; N.S. Implements Provincewide Burn Ban
NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA, JUL 30 – The ban prohibits all open fires with a $25,000 fine to prevent wildfires after 2023's record fires damaged over 25,000 hectares and destroyed 200 homes, officials said.
