Bulltick and ITAM Announce Strategic Alliance to Advance Education in Alternative Investments and Private Markets in Mexico
The 120-hour executive program will cover private equity, venture capital and due diligence as private markets expand, organizers said.
On Thursday, The Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México announced a strategic alliance with Bulltick to launch the Diploma Program in Alternative Investments and Private Markets, beginning October 27, 2026.
Global capital markets have undergone a structural transformation, with assets under management in private markets reaching $13.1 trillion in 2023, up from $6.5 trillion in 2018, driving demand for specialized professional training.
Sylvia Meljem, Director of ITAM's Academic Department of Accounting, and Humberto Bañuelos, Managing Director and Head of Private Clients at Bulltick, will lead the 120-hour program covering asset allocation, IPS preparation, and performance measurement.
The initiative addresses growing demand for professionals capable of structuring investment strategies in private markets, targeting executives in financial sectors, family offices, and institutional investing, including pension funds and endowments.
As public markets face a 47% contraction in listed companies on the NYSE and NASDAQ since 1996, major U.S. university endowments now allocate an average of 54% of assets to alternative investments, reflecting institutional rebalancing.
