July brought a surplus of 524.3 billion forints to the budget, which is how much the public finance balance improved.
In the seventh month, the budget received 200 billion forints in EU energy subsidies, but this money will have to be spent later. The savings, i.e. the end of spending money after the change of government, also helped a lot.
