Security video showed the deer hit a woman before smashing into the window, and the laundromat needed only one window repaired.
- On Tuesday, a deer crashed through a window at The Wishy Washy Laundry on South Main Street in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, startling six people inside the business.
- Security footage showed the animal running through the parking lot before striking a woman who had just left the building; the woman drove away shortly after the collision.
- Owner Corey Pendergrass called it "one in a million chance of something like this," expressing relief that nobody was seriously injured after the deer crashed through and landed on laundry machines.
- Curious visitors have flocked to the business to view the scene since the incident, with Pendergrass describing it as "it was nonsense, and it was just a miracle that no one got hurt."
- Reflecting on the rare occurrence, Pendergrass noted "You don't expect this to happen," expressing gratitude that his customers remained safe after the unexpected wildlife intrusion into the laundromat.
