Password managers are a way of managing passwords and there are high demands on their IT security. The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has investigated the IT security properties of ten selected password managers. The FZI Research Center for Informatics has contributed to this. One result is: As with any other software, there is also a need for improvement for individual password managers.
