The European Commission today strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, which on Wednesday claimed numerous civilian casualties and caused extensive destruction of civilian infrastructure, a commission spokesperson said in Brussels today.
The European Union has been tougher against Israel following the latest attacks on Lebanon. A spokesman for the European Commission has pointed out that the EU "strongly condemns the recent attacks launched by Israel against Lebanon, which have caused a large number of casualties among the civilian population and the destruction of civilian infrastructure".
