Chiba Higashi Police Station arrested Naoki Kameya, a 37-year-old unemployed man from Wakaba Ward, Chiba City, on the 30th on suspicion of attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his 40-year-old brother, with whom he lived, with a kitchen knife. His brother, Hiroki, who was also unemployed, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The police have changed the charge to murder and are continuing their investigation.
