Norwegian skier Tormod Frostad won the Olympic Big Air race. Mac Forehand from the USA was second in a nasty snowstorm in Livigno, and former Czech junior representative Matěj Švancer, who has been competing for Austria since 2021, won bronze.

Matej Svancer became the first Austrian freestyle skier to win a medal at the Olympic Games in Italy. The 21-year-old was delighted to take bronze in the Big Air competition at Livigno Snow Park. In a final of impressive quality on Tuesday, only Norway's Tormod Frostad and the USA's Mac Forehand received higher scores. Frostad achieved 195.50 points out of a possible 200, while Svancer scored 191.25 after three jumps.

Former Czech junior national team member Matěj Švancer, who has been competing for Austria since 2021, won bronze in the Olympic Big Air acrobatic ski race. The winner was Norwegian Tormod Frostad, with Mac Forehand from the USA coming in second in a snowstorm in Livigno.
