UK Broadband Company Closes as Customers Told to Find New Provider 'Immediately'
Vispa Limited advised customers to cancel payments and switch providers after ceasing operations; the company entered liquidation with a proposal to strike off, officials confirmed.
In an email to customers, Vispa Limited, a Manchester-based broadband provider, announced it has ceased trading and decided to commence liquidation proceedings, urging customers to find a new ISP immediately.
Founded in 1999, Vispa offered Openreach-based broadband and recently expanded into full fibre while operating its own Fixed Wireless Access network.
Companies House shows an active proposal to strike Vispa Limited off the register, while the Vispa website and service status page are down for maintenance; ISPreview reported outstanding debts and poor feedback.
Customers face uncertain disconnection timing, so they must immediately choose a new Internet Service Provider and cancel any active Direct Debit or standing order.
ISPreview shared the director's email informing customers of Vispa's cessation, while some customers posted complaints on X about outages; Vispa is the latest UK company to cease trading this year, alongside Game and Quiz.
