- Powered by two home-brewed hydrogen engines adapted from JCB construction machinery, the Hydromax generates 1,600 horsepower, spinning all four wheels through a twin-transmission system controlled by Green.
- This performance surpasses the existing 303 mph hydrogen fuel cell record and the 342 mph electric vehicle mark, while also beating the 350.092 mph diesel record Green set 20 years ago.
- These achievements coincide with JCB's broader industrial strategy, including a new $500 million plant in San Antonio, as the company invests more than $134 million to refine hydrogen engines for global markets.
