LANSING, Iowa (WLAX/WEUX) - The Wisconsin DOT is giving a heads-up about plans to close the bridge between Crawford County and Lansing, Iowa, ahead of construction. The bridge, known as the Black Hawk Bridge, will close at 7 am on Monday, the 20th. For those looking to cross the bridge, the Iowa DOT and WISDOT will provide a free car ferry starting in early November until the new bridge is expected to open in the Spring of 2027.
