- Spokesperson Dr. Habibu Sale Mohammed announced Saturday that the movement seeks to join a coalition aimed at unseating President Bola Tinubu and advancing democratic values.
- In the 2023 presidential election, Kwankwaso represented the New Nigeria Peoples Party , finishing fourth behind President Bola Tinubu of the APC, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, and Peter Obi.
- Following a meeting with Atiku Abubakar in Abuja on Saturday, the Kwankwasiyya Movement directed all members to register with the ADC in their respective states immediately.
