- The actress previously battled breast cancer, undergoing surgeries after a diagnosis reported in 2024. She announced her recovery in August 2025, saying she had emerged "stronger, more resilient and more determined to share her story."
- Colleagues paid tribute via Instagram, with Oladipupo Okanlawon describing Osoba as a "kind, humble and caring person" whose presence brightened every room. Foluke Daramola-Salako shared her grief in a memorial post.
