The Ministry of Health points out that at least 2% of maternal babies living with the virus were contaminated in 2023 Brazil sent the necessary documentation this Wednesday to obtain the independent certificate of elimination of the vertical transmission of HIV, i.e. mother for child. The report was delivered by the Minister of Health, Alexandre Padilla, to the Pan-American Health Organization (Opas), a regional WHO arm.
