- Bradley Cooper is in talks to write and direct Warner Bros.' new "Oceans 11" prequel, where he is already attached to star opposite Margot Robbie, who is producing through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner.
- Following the exit of Twisters director Lee Isaac Chung earlier this month and Meet the Parents director Jay Roach, Warner Bros. aims to keep production on track to shoot before year's end.
- If finalized, this would mark Cooper's fourth directorial effort following 2018's A Star Is Born, 2023's Maestro, and 2025's Is This Thing On, all of which he also wrote and starred in.
- The prequel is set in 1960s Europe and explores events before the 2001 "Ocean's" film, while screenwriter Carrie Solomon's script may change if Cooper joins as writer.
- Separately, Warner Bros. is developing "Ocean's Fourteen" with George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts returning; Clooney described it as a "Going in Style"-esque follow-up featuring the crew in their older age.
