Boys basketball roundup: Morris/CA Tigers too much for NLS Wildcats

NEW LONDON — The combo of Alex Asmus and Tyson Grove propelled the Morris/Chokio-Alberta boys basketball team past New London-Spicer on Tuesday. The Tigers spoiled the Wildcats’ home opener with an 83-51 non-conference victory. Asmus led all scorers with 28 points. The 6-foot-3 guard hit four 3-pointers in the victory.
