Police have launched an investigation into the kidnapping of 12 female farmers by suspected Boko Haram militants amid ongoing regional violence, officials said.
- On Saturday evening, unidentified gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram kidnapped no fewer than 12 female farmers in Mussa district, Askira-Uba Local Government Area, Borno State while they were returning from their farms.
