NO LOC, JUL 22 – Borderlands 4 launches on Nintendo Switch 2 nearly a month after other platforms as Gearbox optimized the version in-house to deliver the best experience possible, priced at $70.
- On September 12, 2025, Borderlands 4 debuts on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving on October 3, 2025, said Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford.
- Gearbox and 2K Games stated the Switch 2 edition had always been planned separately, noting it was developed in-house at Gearbox.
- Despite initial concerns, fans are excited as the Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 arrives in 2025.
