Maribor's Mariborka bookstore was once again the target of vandalism. Unknown people sprayed the front door, paving stones and part of the facade with red paint, which also penetrated the interior. The bookstore estimates the damage at around 3,000 euros, but warns that the attack goes beyond just material damage. The Municipality of Maribor also responded to the incident, strongly condemning the vandalism.
Mariborka, which has been the target of vandalism several times in the past, is treating the incident as a hate crime.
