The top five best books of the year according to literary critic Radim Kopáč are led by Salman Rushdie with his reflections after an attempted murder. But novels by Jiří Hájíček, Petra Soukupová, Petra Dvořáková and Jakuba Katalpa were also interesting. At the opposite pole, one stands out.
