Rum is mostly associated with the Caribbean region, but the cane distillate also thrives on the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. The distillery is also owned by Czech Jiřín Ragan, after whom the strong distillate is named. In the future, the Ragan brand plans to supply 40 thousand bottles to the European market annually, the same amount will be sold in the US.
