- The vehicle was confirmed as registered to Dennis Keith Dillinger, 54-year-old missing from Page, Arizona, last seen in Kanab, Utah on Dec. 1, 2023; remains recovered have not yet been identified.
- The Kane County Sheriff's Office said it will lead the death investigation, thanked the National Park Service and the Page Arizona Police Department, and confirmed the case remains open and active, a lieutenant said.
