18 girls swimmers, 6 divers set to represent Section III at this year’s state championship meet

The diving championship is scheduled to take place on Friday, along with the preliminary swimming events. Championship swimming events will conclude on Saturday.

Members of the Spencer swimming team, including Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn sophomore Ava Vogt, competed at the girls' state swimming meet last week at Iowa City. Vogt competed in three relay events. Western Dubuque’s Kaley Beimborn, Evelyn Coyle and Livia Radloff competed for Dubuque Senior at the IGHSAU State Swimming Championships, Nov. 14, at the University of Iowa Campus Recreation and Wellness Center in Iowa City.
