Blair County seeks dismissal of prison assault lawsuit

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — Blair County is asking for a federal lawsuit filed by a former inmate who was attacked while in the prison's custody to be dismissed. The lawsuit was filed in September by Larry Lykens, who was allegedly attacked inside the prison by murder suspect Raymond Oechsle, Jr. It named the county, Blair County Prison, the prison board and Oechsle as defendants.
