Bitcoin ETFs Lost $65 Million In A Day. One BlackRock Fund Accounted For Every Dollar.

Fidelity, ARK 21Shares and other tracked funds reported no net flows as withdrawals shifted entirely to BlackRock’s IBIT, Farside Investors data showed.

  • On Monday, according to Farside Investors data, BlackRock's Bitcoin Trust ETF recorded $65.4 million in net outflows, making it the only product to report net withdrawals among tracked Spot Bitcoin ETFs.
  • These withdrawals follow a reversal on October 9, when Spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $21.1 million in net investments, breaking a streak of larger outflows earlier in the month.
  • Despite recent fluctuations, BlackRock's IBIT has secured approximately $65.67 billion in cumulative net inflows since January 2024, while all tracked funds reached approximately $57.1 billion through October 12.
  • Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, ARK, Bitwise Bitcoin ETF, and Grayscale's Bitcoin funds all reported zero net flows on Monday, though zero net flows do not mean investors stopped trading shares.
  • Daily flow data measure net creations and redemptions rather than total buying or selling activity, and ETF withdrawals do not necessarily correspond to equivalent drops in Bitcoin's price.
