The birth of sons and daughters of foreigners has decreased considerably in the Biobío Region over the past five years. In 2020, the number of migrant births was 845, in 2021 there were 772, while in 2022 there were 726 registered, along with 709 of 2023. The most notorious decline has been in the last two years.
