Three-time Downhill World Champion and overall World Cup winner Valentina Höll missed the chance to win the Mountain Bike World Cup in Leogang, thus completing a hat trick at home. The 23-year-old from Salzburg finished third, 2.427 seconds behind Canadian Gracey Hemstreet and American Anna Newkirk (+0.865). In the men's race, Jackson Goldstone, another Canadian, triumphed, while Styrian Andreas Kolb finished eighth (+1.681).
