Billy Wagner Inducted to Baseball Hall of Fame

Crozet resident Billy Wagner was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, July 27. A seven-time All-Star with a 100-mile-per-hour fastball, he spent 16 seasons in the Major Leagues playing for the Astros, Phillies, Mets, Red Sox and Braves as a lefthanded relief pitcher.
