Bills would let Kentucky's governor temporarily use over $3 billion from the state rainy day fund to keep SNAP benefits flowing during federal payment gaps.

(KT) – Legislation introduced in the Senate and House would ensure Kentucky families do not lose access to SNAP benefits if the federal government temporarily stops or delays payments during a federal shutdown or funding lapse.
