Former President of the Republic of Serbia Biljana Plavšičová has died in Belgrade at the age of 96, Srpska Info reports. During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, she belonged to the political leadership of the Bosnian Serbs, later being sentenced to 11 years in prison in The Hague for a crime against humanity. She was released in 2009.
