Utilisation Certificates of ₹92, 132.75 crore yet to be received by office, says CAG report, 2024-25 in Bihar
“62,632 outstanding UCs of ₹ 92,132.75 crore were yet to be received by the Principal Accountant General (Accounts & Entitlements), Bihar as on March 31, 2025”, said the CAG report under the title of “Financial Reporting Practices”, which was laid on the floor of the state assembly on July 23
CAG Report Bihar: During the tenure of the then Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the funds allocated for Bihar's budget were not being fully spent and even in the expenditure that was done, the utilization certificate of thousands of crores of rupees is not in the government records.
The Bihar government has spent 62,000 crore rupees, but it doesn't know where it's going. Two bridges have been built on paper in Araria and East Champaran. The government has spent 33 million rupees, but the people haven't benefited. The government has planned to spend 3.5 billion rupees in 2024-25.
