WNBA Finals Games 3 and 4 Head to State Farm Arena

The change gives Atlanta more than 17,000 seats for the Finals as ticket demand rose and the Dream prepare for a title run.

  • On Tuesday, the WNBA announced the Atlanta Dream will play Games 3 and 4 of the Finals at State Farm Arena, which seats more than 17,000, replacing the 3,500-seat Gateway Center Arena.
  • The shift follows significant demand driven by more than 400 percent growth in season ticket membership over five years and a 54.7% increase in regular-season attendance since star Angel Reese's arrival.
  • Atlanta Dream majority owner Larry Gottesdiener said, "This is what the players and the fans deserve." Star Angel Reese called the move "bittersweet," citing her love for the intimacy of the current venue.
  • Game 3 shifts to Wednesday, October 21, while Game 4 moves to Saturday, October 24, at 1 p.m. Public tickets go on sale Friday, October 16, as the Atlanta Hawks adjusted their schedule.
  • Entering their first WNBA Finals in 13 years, the Dream face scheduling uncertainty for a potential Game 6 due to conflicts with the Atlanta Hawks. The franchise plans a full-time move to State Farm Arena in 2027.
