'Best ever' Coke flavour returns to UK shelves 8 years after being discontinued
The drink is back in 8-pack and 24-pack cans, with Iceland listing both sizes as new items on its website.
Vanilla Coca-Cola has returned to shelves in Britain, exclusively available at Iceland. The retailer offers eight-packs of 330ml cans for £5 and 24-packs for £12.50.
Originally introduced in 2005 and relaunched in 2013, Vanilla Coca-Cola became permanent before being discontinued in summer 2018. The flavour has since appeared only during occasional limited runs.
Coca-Cola fans have seen several popular varieties disappear in recent years. In 2024, the soft drink giant confirmed that Coca-Cola Cherry Vanilla and Diet Coke with Splenda had been discontinued.
Earlier this year, Coca-Cola expanded its range by launching Cherry Float and Cherry Float Zero Sugar. Senior Marketing Manager Ellie D'Silva stated the flavour reflects innovation while combining cherry notes with smooth vanilla.
Food deals page Newfoodsuk first spotted the drink, sharing "Vanilla Coca-Cola is back, now available exclusively at Iceland Foods." Fans quickly expressed excitement, with one calling it the "best drink ever.
