Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, speaking at the 65th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement, which took place in the then Yugoslav capital Belgrade, stressed that the principles of peace, sovereignty and equality of states remain relevant even in times of new wars and increasing geopolitical tensions. Slovenia never applied for membership in this organization after the collapse of the common state.
