France loses five places in the global ranking of the Corruption Perception Index established each year by Transparency International. For the first time, the country is ranked among those "rising to lose control of corruption", worries the NGO.

The NGO places the country in 25th place in its perception index of corruption and points out "a lack of will, on all political sides, to combat attacks on probity".
