The Belding City Council heard an update Tuesday evening on construction progress at the city's new wastewater treatment plant. Fleis and VandenBrink Process Engineer Scott Hall told council members that the project is “substantially” complete, with a few hundred cosmetic, “final punch list” items remaining incomplete and some stinky lagoons to drain. “You are now able to get clean water out of your plant,” he said. “It's very exciting.”
